As a new adult romance, much of the earlier chapters concentrated heavily on college life with house parties and drinking games and probably could have been trimmed to get to the heart of the story.

Even when she transferred to the college, he wasn’t so nice to her, and told her she wanted wanted there. Another great addition to the Don't let Me series following the LAU hockey team’s star players and their incredible, strong girlfriends. And Theo, hockey captain, a star with a future in the NHL, bringing girls to their knees but never committing, was just so deliciously sexy and captivating.At first i kind of thought Theo was being annoying and he was being too much of an over protective big brother to Blake than her actual brother, but I quickly started to love his and Blake’s tit for tat relationship.

This book involved more immaturity and lack of communication between the main characters which always has me yelling at their stupidity 😂 but it ended in a very sweet and happy way that made up for it. Once again she made me fall so in love with her characters, she took me through one of the best emotional roller coaster.

When a bet is made to see who can take Blake's v card first by his hockey team Theo is furious but then something happens that neither can come back from but will it make things between them even more complicated than they were before. There was even happy tears I can’t believe how he can be so clueless but know exactly what he needs to do to get the girl. So we all know the saying 'Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover' but let's be real when we're looking at books the first thing to catch our eye is the cover; whelp the cover I saw didn't provide an idea that is was even a romance, never mind a romance that was going to have me so invested I forgot to eat lunch. This series is one of those that I’m kicking myself for leaving it on my tbr for so long but also trying to savor it. brothers best friend😏 this book was better than the other but also kinda cringey :/ like please do not ask me out in some huge public display because i will give you a side eye and run the opposite direction.
